Membee was pleased to be invited to attend the latest meeting of the Ontario Membee User Group. This self-organized and self-run user group meets twice each year in the spring and fall to compare notes, share good ideas, and network with other Membee users from the Province of Ontario.
Membee staff were asked to present information about the new integrated email function. Kathy also gave the group a sneak peek of some upcoming new features like our enhanced directory.
The group participated in a very interactive user feedback session where Anita gathered input and ideas for future enhancements to the software. Many of the great ideas generated by this group at their meetings have already found their way into Membee.
Members of the group presented best practices for using Groups and Committees and shared ideas about how to promote events online. It wasn't all work and no play though. Participants attended a group dinner on the first day of the two day meeting and held an impromptu birthday celebration for one of the attendees. We were missing a few of the group at dinner because they had to leave early for a Spelling Bee of all things!
We would like to extend a special thank you to the Guelph Chamber of Commerce and to Wendy and the staff for not only hosting the fall meeting but for forming the group. Their hard work and commitment has given Membee and all of our clients in the Province of Ontario a unique opportunity to meet face to face and share ideas about how Membee can contribute to the success of all their organizations.
We think user groups are a wonderful idea and if you are interested in founding your own group please let us know – we would love to help you get started. Contact Kathy by email at email@example.com or at 1-800-729-2962 Ext 441 for more information.
Wonderful write-up, thank you Anita and Kathy for all your hard work and support! I always look forward to our group sessions twice a year. There is always something to learn, even for the seasoned users.
