Want to know how to encourage more website visitors to click through and register for your events?  Want to boost revenues and increase member engagement with your organization?

Last week’s blog talked about using Membee’s Event Feed to highlight your upcoming events automatically – See Highlight Important Events.  This week we show you how to use CSS styling to catch your website visitor’s attention and draw them into your event registration pages.

DateExample

Highlighted Dates

In this example the Event Day and Event Month have been styled to draw attention to the dates for the events.

Here specific CSS styles were applied to the the EventDay and EventMonth Divs.

iconimage

Clickable Buttons

This example uses an image to entice the viewer to click on the button for more information.  One click takes them to the registration form for the event.

Here the web developer used an image specified in the CSS in the “Icon” div. The image specified as the icon becomes a link through to the event page.

bulletlist

Bulleted List

This example displays the events as a clickable bulleted list.  When the viewer clicks on the event title they are taken to the registration page for the event.

The “Bullet” Div allows the designer to display individual events as bullets in a list.  In this example the designer used an image of a square as the bullet. In this case the image is NOT a link but is simply positioned to the left of the event.

All of the elements on the Event Feed are named elements and this maximizes the creative options for your site designer through the use of style sheets.  Click here for how to information about how to use the Events Feed.  Remember to have your password ready so you can access the article.
