Membee Visually Flags Members with Overdue Balances

In case you missed it, a new Outstanding Balance Alert feature was added to Membee during a recent build. A ticket submitted by one of our users said:
“It would be nice if there could be a "flag" of some sort on member records that are past due. In particular, something that would come up when any of our staff might pull up a member. No one ever thinks to click on the financial tab (other than myself because I handle the books). It would be a great opportunity to perhaps save a membership that's about to be dropped. It occurred to me because, in the past few days, we've had staff talking to various members who are about to be dropped as they have been taking reservations, etc. It would have been nice to say, "and by the way, Mr. X, did you know that your membership is about to be cancelled?"

We thought this was a great idea and, as a direct result of the ticket submitted, we added an alert so that as soon as you view a record, you will see that there are outstanding invoices on the account .
If you have a look in Admin -> System Settings, you will find a new setting called "Show Member Overdue Alert" under the "Financial Setup" panel. If this is turned on, when you bring up a member record in People and Organizations the member's "Name" is displayed in red and the system will show the number of days their invoice is overdue according to your settings. For example, if you set it to 31+ and a member has an invoice that is at least 31 days old the display will look like this:
To quickly turn this feature on, see the Set the Membee System Settings article and item 21.4 in the Set the System Settings section for instructions on how to set the display. Remember to have your Membee username and password ready.
