Ever want to know who attends the most events or who doesn’t come out at all?  The new Participation and Non-Participation Report can tell you really quickly.  The report can also tell you who participates in your committees and groups.

Use Participation Reports to:

Participation Report

Gauge Participation: the likelihood of a member renewing is much greater if they are engaged.

Encourage Dues Payment: If the members are participating often, run the participation report to illustrate the value that they get from being members.

See Who Attends Events Regularly: Find out who your frequent flyers are by running the participation reports across multiple events. Perhaps these are the folks who might be interested in buying “Packages” of events.

Analyze Attendance Data:  Use the data produced by the report to analyze your attendance.  See if you are well supported by particular sets of your members or industries or categories or size of company, etc.  Run historical reports so that you can track recent participation versus historical participation.

Use Event Attendance to Find Members Interested in Participating on a Committee: Members who regularly attend your events may be more likely to volunteer for one of your committees.  Use the participation report to generate lists of people to approach when you are looking for new recruits.

Use Non Participation Reports to:

non participation

Generate Interest and Sales for Events: Have a major event coming up? Remind people who haven’t yet registered that the closing date is fast approaching.

Re-Invite: Use the non-participation report to find those members who haven’t registered for your latest conference and re-invite them.

Increase Member Retention Rates: If your members aren’t participating in your committees and groups or attending your events perhaps they aren’t engaged.

For them that means that they aren’t getting the most out of their membership and for you less committed members means they may be at risk of dropping.

Send Reminders:  Sometimes even a simple “Haven’t seen you in awhile message” is enough to generate interest in participating again.

Survey Those Who Don’t Participate: Use the report to generate a list of those who don’t participate.  Survey them to see why they don’t come out and use the information to improve your events or offer benefits these members want.

Use the Participation / Non Participation Report to help you keep your members active and involved to ensure that your association remains vibrant and that your membership is sought after.
