This week, we’ve handed over the controls of the Latest Buzz over to Kathryn Newell, volunteer chairperson of Membee’s most active user group who has some pretty cool news. Take it away Kathryn!
Greetings All,
Our group was formed nearly 14 years ago with simple objectives:
- To maximize our use of Membership Manager (Membee’s predecessor way back in 2001)
- To address the growing list of challenges faced by our organizations
- To positively support each other in becoming better professionals as we lead through example within our organizations and communities
- To provide constructive input into the future of Membee by sharing openly our ideas and thoughts as users of the software
We are a self-formed and independently managed group of engaged and enthusiastic individuals who believe in the “quests” of our organizations. We enjoy a tremendous working relationship with Membee and in short, we have a good thing going here.
While our group meets face-to-face for a couple days each year (this year – June 4 & 5) with attendees traveling from as far away as Texas, for the remaining 363 days of the year, we have put some technology to work. A private Facebook group (for active Membee users only) has evolved as a simple tool for us to collaborate, converse, and connect easily.
We’d like to invite you to join!
If this group looks like something that would be helpful, just click the link below and click the “+Join Group” button.
I hope to meet you there!
All the best,
Kathryn
P.S. – Thanks, Membee and here are the controls back. 🙂
You’re welcome, Kathryn! See you in June!
