How to Use Membee for Free!

Did you know that you could potentially use Membee for free?? With gaining credit for each organization you refer, using Membee for free is a real possibility!

Have an organization in mind that you feel could benefit from Membee?

Our #1 source of new client organizations are referrals from existing clients. We wanted to find a way to reward clients for sharing Membee with other organizations and "Friends of the Hive" was born!

Friends of the Hive is exclusive to Membee client organizations that benefits you when you refer another organization to Membee. You will receive a credit against your quarterly Membee subscription for every referred organization that signs up. Refer enough Organizations, and you are using Membee for free!

How it Works

If you have an Organization in mind, big or small, you can go to membee.com (link below) and fill out a very quick and easy referral form. Your job is now done, so easy! We take it from there and work with the referred organization to get them signed up.

Heike Albrecht, the Professional Development Coordinator at the New Zealand Psychological Society, has offered her experience with this feature, here’s what she had to say:

“I am a staunch supporter of Membee. So when another organization contacted me to find out how Membee works, I was happy to give a demonstration. They liked what they saw and were keen to get started.
I was aware that Membee had a referral program, Friends of the Hive, which rewards both the referrer and the referree. It was a matter of completing a simple form with basic details, such as contact details. Once the new organization had signed up a credit was applied to our subscription as well as to theirs. A win-win for all.”

Advantages to You

Once you submit the referral form and the organization has subscribed to Membee, you will see the credit against your account. The amount of credit applied is equal to the amount of your quarterly subscription OR the amount of the new organization's quarterly subscription, whichever is less. If you refer an organization larger or equal to yourself, you will receive your subscription for that quarter completely free. Refer just 4 organizations, and you are using Membee free for a year!

There is no limit to the amount of credits you can receive. The more you refer, the more credits and free subscription time you will gain!

Once you submit a form, that referral is “protected” for 90 days. This means that if another client refers the same organization, whoever submitted first wins. Every referral is date and time stamped. If the 90 days passes without that referred organization signing up, they become “open” for you to refer them again, or for another client to refer them.

Meet Heike & the New Zealand Psychological Society

Hi, my name is Heike Albrecht. I am the Professional Development Coordinator for the New Zealand Psychological Society. I have been working for the Society since 2000 – with a break of two years. Foremost, my role is to organize events – such as workshops and the annual conference. Membee’s event database is perfect for that purpose. I also look after content of our website (www.psychology.org.nz) which Membee has designed for us. I format our publications, such as newsletters, magazines and books (which we sell via our Book Store – another Membee feature) and pick up any projects when my time allows. I enjoy challenges and am grateful for the varied tasks in my job.
