Membee recently talked to Shawna Lightfoot and her team over at the Tennessee Pharmacists Association. They had just recently implemented Membee’s Card Vault feature, and we were curious to find out what benefits they think will come with implementing Card Vault. Below Shawna and her team mention things such as new membership sales, retention, and event attendance all improving thanks to Card Vault!
Wait, What’s Card Vault?
Membee users will now be able to store a member’s credit card information, further simplifying the purchase transaction process. Whether a member is simply renewing their membership or purchasing an event ticket, using Card Vault, that credit card information can be securely saved for any future payments.

The most exciting thing from a Membee users point of view is that they now have the option to bill their members on a month to month basis opposed to a yearly lump sum! This can be a valuable tool for long-term retention once more of your, younger or newer to the industry, members are financially stable enough for those automatic monthly renewal payments!
After spending eight years in school pharmacists often have tremendous student loan debt. It’s also a time when many of them are ready to start a family, maybe buy a home, and of course, begin building a career. With all of these demands on their paychecks and their time, we hope that automatic monthly payments will make joining TPA a “no brainer” decision for them.

When members take advantage of the option to save their credit card info to their profile, this then provides all the info Membee needs to automatically charge them monthly for their membership renewal. This makes membership easier for your members, and easier on you! No more emailing or calling all of those with overdue invoices! This feature eliminates work for the members, and most importantly administrative work for Membee users!

Card Vault is also making it a simpler process for members to sign up for your events! If they have a credit card saved to their profile, purchasing a ticket to an event is just as simple as ordering a new pair of shoes online! It’s a process most of your members are familiar with.
The millennials gravitate towards the new technology offered by Card Vault and how easy it is to register for events online. Boomers are late adapters but the longer Card Vault has been out the more they are taking advantage.
