Easy to Adjust Your Event Layout Design

Did you know that with Membee you can choose how your events are displayed on your site in the Event Widget? You have two options for how the event will appear:
- One column layout (600px)
- Two column layout (930px)
This can make your event display look cleaner, more modern and gives you much more control for each individual event.
How to Adjust Event Layouts
It’s super easy to adjust:
- In Membee select “Events” in the right-hand menu
- Search your event in the “Quick Search”
- Select “Edit” to the right
- Select “Layout & Display”
- Scroll down to “Page Layout & Width”
Two Column – 930px
The first screenshot below shows if you were to select the two column 930px. Two sections of your event will appear to the right in the second column, and you can change the order in which they appear.
- Where & When
- Sponsors
This can be a great option for those events that have more information and will involve more scrolling. Having the address and sponsors to the right can give it a more polished look, and less scrolling for the attendees.

One Column – 600px
This second screenshot below shows the same event if you selected the one column, 600px options.
- This can be a good option if you want all of your event details in a single column, easy to scroll keeping it clean and organized.

Section Arrangement
Its easy in Membee to adjust all aspects of your event sections:
- Rearrange sections
- Hide desired sections
- Rename sections
In the screenshot below you can tell how the sections are split when you select the two column 930px layout:
Set Defaults for Each Event Widget
You can even have a different layout defaulted for each Event Widget you have created, for example:
- 600px for normal event calendar pages
- 930px for conference or gala dinners
Set up in 5 minutes!
- Go to Admin
- In Widgets select “Events”
- Scroll to Widget Settings
