User Spotlight: Get the Most Out of Membee

This week on the Latest Buzz blog we talk with Megan McIntosh, the Operations Coordinator at The Manitoba Restaurant and Foodservices Association. We discuss their internal restructuring and how they got Membee to start working for them, saving them precious money and administrative time.
MRFA made the transition from outsourcing association management to bringing in their own in-house staff and managing the association themselves. Their previous association management company was beginning to use Membee but hadn’t reached its full potential, so once Megan took over there was a lot that needed to be implemented. Megan worked closely with Membee’s Senior Implementation Specialists Kathy and Julie:

Getting Started With Automations
There are many different tasks you can completely automate – you are in control, but Membee will complete the work for you! With automations you can automate the complete Membership Life Cycle, meaning you can automate:
- New member sign up
- Renewals invoicing
- Invoice reminders (membership, events, etc.)
- Canceling/suspending memberships
- And more!
Before Automations the MRFA was doing physical mail and would have to print out letters and invoices to send their members. Now with Membee’s automations, it is easy for them to go in and send, edit, or forward things to members without having to reprint 500 invoices. MRFA is now saving a massive amount of admin time and a bunch of money on office supply costs.
Membee’s automated features are such a time (and stress) saver! Automated emails, invoicing, and membership management features allow me to set up automations when I have the time, so I can focus on other tasks I need to work on. Membee makes it easy to integrate with websites like MailChimp and Constant Contact. Membee’s direct integration makes it very easy to send and track great looking member emails.

With Membee’s widgets your members can access new member signup, their member profiles, register for events, view member-only content, view directory & directory map, donate to your cause, and more. With your members never having to leave your site it makes engagement and participation a breeze!
