Event Upgrade #2 Part 3 – Check Who Attended

This week we offer another sneak peek into the Event upgrades coming soon! We have made it easier for our users to see and check off who attended their events.

Membee’s no. 1 search topic in our Help from the Hive is “event[s]” and gets searched almost 4x more than the search term in second place. We know what our users want which is exactly why are making these Event’s adjustments.

If you want the first look at this upgrade you might want to consider attending this year’s User’s Conference in Burlington. Users who attend will receive demos and a hands-on look at these new upgrades guided by Membee’s senior Implementation Coordinator and Developer.

Attended Checkbox

We have made it easier to mark who attended and who did not for each event.

  • Go into the event
  • Select “Sales” tab
  • To the right of the listed names/orgs select “More” and the attendees will appear

The Event Setup

You can decide whether you want attendee’s to be defaulted to be checked as “Attended” or unchecked.

You can decide to check or uncheck depending on the number of attendees. It would take forever to check as “Attended” for your annual conference, much easier to go and uncheck those few people who could not make it.

You can choose the default in two places:

  1. Event Setup Default Settings:
    • Admin > Events > Event Setup Default Settings

2. In each individual event:

  • Search the event name > “Edit this Event” > Details Tab

Annual User’s Conference

If you want an exclusive look at what Membee has up its sleeve for this upgrade and future upgrades you have to attend this year’s Annual Users Conference, or else you wait until launch. This is the main advantage of attending the Users Conference. You receive hands-on presentations and demos directly from Membee’s support and development teams. Instead of that having to be a manual process. Can you write code where we can Scan their ticket or swipe their name in a check-in system like eventbrite. Create an Event Checkin App that I can have volunteers download? Also, is there a way to push the Stripe Transactions Fees onto the customer via our event setup. Manual check-in without real-time update is will no longer work for our chamber.
