At the same time, Membee will set up their record, their billing, apply payments and activate their login or directory listings (if applicable) automatically. However, sometimes the member might not be able to join on their own and you need to add them internally. Using nearly the same process internally, you can easily add a new member into your database without setting up anything manually.

In four simple steps, you can add a new member record with the membership, login, and directory listings completely set up. Using existing membership forms, staff or volunteers can add a new member just by entering the member’s information with these four easy steps:
- Select the option to create a new person or organization
- Select the form you want to use to create the new record
- Each form can have a different workflow
- You can fully customize the workflow (i.e. one form may activate login, while another form may not)
- Enter the new member’s information
- You can enter as much information as you know about the new member. For any fields that you don’t, you can leave blank and complete later or the new member can update it themselves
- Apply any payments or email the membership bill
- If you have payment on hand, Membee will provide you with the opportunity to apply it to their membership immediately
- If you don’t have the payment yet, Membee offers the opportunity to email the membership bill right away
